Freephone Service for Women Prisoners
In addition to our core Advice Line service for all prisoners, PAS operates a Freephone Service for women prisoners, which is staffed by our dedicated Women Prisoners’ Caseworker. The number of this service is cleared in all women’s prisons in England and Wales.

Statement for Families and Friends Regarding Use of Advice Line
PAS’ Advice Line is reserved exclusively for prisoners, ensuring caseworkers can focus on supporting those in custody. Calls from outside prison are not accepted. Friends and family should use the online contact form here, which is checked daily, with responses typically within 10 days. If a prisoner has an active case, PAS can only discuss it with others if the prisoner has signed an authority form granting permission.
