PAS is delighted to announce that our\u00a0Annual Lecture, 2017, will be given by Professor Conor Gearty <\/a>on 7th November at Mayer Brown<\/a>‘s offices in London.<\/p>\n

Professor Gearty is a\u00a0leading academic authority in human rights, was a founder member of Matrix Chambers and is currently a Professor of Human Rights Law and Director of the Institute of Public Affairs\u00a0at the London School of Economics where he was also, for seven years, Director of the Centre for the Study of Human Rights, an inter-disciplinary research centre.<\/p>\n

This year’s lecture is entitled, \u201cPrisons \u2013 A Life Without (Human) Rights?\u201d<\/p>\n

It will take place\u00a0on Tuesday 7th November from 6pm to 8pm at\u00a0Mayer Brown, 201 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3AF.<\/p>\n

Mayer Brown is a global legal services provider advising clients across the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, with a strong commitment to corporate responsibility and the pro bono support of charities including PAS.<\/p>\n
